According to news sources, about 1,750 units of the children’s pajamas have been recalled due to burn hazards arising from the fact that the pajamas are incompatible with federal flammability standards in regards to children sleepwear.
The company, Group Lemur Inc., has announced the recall of the children pajamas because they do not meet existing federal flammability standards. The pajamas come in four colors, blue, white, yellow and pink and have separate designs including dots, umbrellas, flowers, and butterflies printed on them. Also printed on the neck inside the shirt are the words Petit Lem Lounge.
The pajamas have been sold from January 2009 through November 2009 for a retail price of about $30.
Consumers with the recalled product should take it away from children and return it for a refund. Consumers can also contact the company at (877) 748-6698.

The company, Bliss Collection LLC, has announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with The U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission after it was found that the pajamas failed to meet safety standards and posed a burn injury risk to children. The pajamas are a two-piece sleepwear made out of cotton and come in different colors including, blue, whit, red and pink.
There have been no reports of injury to date.
The pajamas have a retail price ranging from $48 to $58 and have been sold from Jan 2008 through June 2011.
