According to news sources, about 126,000 Honda Goldwing motorcycles are being recalled due to issues related to the master cylinders of the secondary brakes which cause the rear brakes to get stuck, therefore posing an increased collision risk.
The voluntary recall was initiated in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after it was found that problems with the rear brakes can cause them to get stuck and therefore drag or even catch on fire due to the potential heat generated. The recalled motorcycles are the GL 1800 Goldwing, with the models included in the recall starting with 2001 through 2010 and 2012.
