Infiniti G37 recall

Infiniti G37 and Nissan 370Z are being recalled due to faulty power windows

By Los Angeles Personal Injury Lawyer on November 16, 2011

According to the morning news, the Nissan carmaker company is issuing a recall for 370Z sports vehicles and Infiniti G37 coupe. The 2011 models of both vehicles have demonstrated a possible issue with the programming of the power windows and their electronic components.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported earlier that Nissan cars have a slight possibility of coming with auto-reverse power windows that won’t function properly. This can turn into a problem if a malfunctioning closing window traps someone’s body parts.

News outlets showed that there haven’t been any reports of injuries related to this recall but that for safety reasons, Nissan preferred to recall the vehicles.

The company has stated that it will be contacting all owners so they can bring their vehicles to the closest dealership for the repair free of charge.

As a Los Angeles car accident lawyer I urge all drivers to be aware of electronic devices in your vehicles that might show signs of failure. To understand how your car works and that a regular check-up will do no harm may keep you away from car accidents caused by failing systems.

Contact a personal injury lawyer in your area in the eventual case you may have been injured in an accident not caused by yourself.
