According to recent news from Consumer Reports, about 28,000 Nissan Juke vehicles have been recalled due to a faulty boost sensor bracket problem that can cause it to break off.
The recall affects only the 2011 Nissan Juke SUV models that are equipped with turbocharger engines. The engines were reportedly made from April 2010 through May 2011. The faulty sensor brackets could potentially break, which would subsequently increase the chances of collision since the vehicle may then unexpectedly stall as a result, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
Nissan will be expected to contact vehicle owners starting January, 9. 2012. Vehicle owners can bring in the car to their local dealers for an inspection and free replacement of the faulty part.
