According to news sources, about 6,141 cartons of Pacific Cilantro have been recalled due to a potential Salmonella risk arising from positive testing confirming Salmonella contamination at a distributer level.
The Food and Drug Administration confirmed the contamination of the product, Pacific Cilantro, after a sample testing came back positive. The recalled cilantro comes in bunches and has a twist tie with UPC code 3338380104 and “Pacific” printed on it. The source of the Salmonella contamination has yet to be found.
There have been no injuries reported to date.
