According to a report released by the Food and Drug Administration, Foremost Foods, International, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall on a smoked seafood brand called Pangasinan. There are concerns that this item might be contaminated with the bacteria Clostridium botulinum that poses a major health risk for humans.
FITRIFE Incorporated manufactures the seafood product being recalled. Consumers who happen to have purchased the product are urged to return it right away to the place of purchase for a refund. Faremost Foods, International, Inc. has distributed this item in the States of Nevada, California and Washington. The Seafood City and Manila Seafood retail stores are responsible for the sales.
