According to news sources, a recall has been issued for about 64,000 car seat adapters after it was found that they can potentially detach, posing a fall hazard for infants inside the stroller.
The recall was announced in cooperation with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission due to the fall injury hazard. The recalled stroller adapters have model numbers 80400GC01 and 80401GC02 and have been sold from December 2005 through July 2011.
The recalled products have a retail price of about $45.
