The Food and Drug Administration along with the distributer Pure Italian, LLC and manufacturer Bio Gaudiano announced a recall of the Bio Gaudiano Organic Olives Stuffed with Almonds.
According to the report, there’s a chance the products sold in packages of different sizes have been contaminated with Clostridium botulinum. This bacterium may cause severe illnesses that are known to be life threatening. After two adults were hospitalized in Finland, it was discovered they had botulism. The men had allegedly consumed the Bio Gaudiano Stuffed Olives prior to the hospitalization.
