According to news sources, a recall has been announced for 12-ounce Tejava Premium Iced Tea cases after the discovery of glass fragments inside the bottles, which can lead to harmful injury if swallowed.
The company announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with The U.S Food Drug Administration due to the bottles having glass fragments which can be harmful to consumers who swallow it. The recalled bottles have the following codes printed on the cases as well as on the back of the bottles1BT220, 1BT221, 1BT222, 1BT223, 1BT252, 1BT253, 1BT254, 1BT255, 1BT277, 1BT278, 1BT279, 1BT280, 1BT313.
There are no injuries reported to date, the FDA said.
