An ice cream product made by Kroger is being recalled after it was discovered that it contained allergens not declared on its label, according to recent news sources.
The ice cream subject to recall is the Private Selection Extreme Moose Tracks, sold in Krogers stores as well as Jay C, Food 4 Less, Owen’s Pay Less, and Scott’s.
The ice cream was sold in ten different states. Those states include Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee, at which the product was sold in Kroger stores and in the company’s Jay C, Food 4 Less, Owen’s, Pay Less and Scott’s stores in Illinois and Indiana.
The product is 16 ounces and has a code of 11110 52909. A sell by date of June 18, 2012 is printed on the product.
